Orthognathic surgery for adult with upper and lower dental & lip protrusion
Posterior crossbite is often related to a narrow maxilla and upper dental arch. It can be unilateral (one side) or bilateral (both sides). When crossbite condition presents, it is recommended to correct it as soon as possible before the palatal suture fused to avoid future orthognathic surgery.
