Patient has 2 supernumerary teeth blocked #9 from eruption. He was referred to oral surgeon to remove these extra teeth and wait until permanent teeth eruption before phase 1 treatment

Supernumerary teeth are in excess of the normal number of teeth, and they are classified according to their location. They are often malformed and some times blocks the eruption of normal permanent teeth. It is important to remove these supernumerary teeth if interference with other teeth are detected. Phase I may or may not necessary.
